Julie K. Fowler, J.D

Julie K. Fowler is admitted to practice law in Washington State and the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington. She received her BA in Law and Justice and German from Central Washington University and her law degree from New England Law.
Ms. Fowler was selected to write a brief on the effectiveness of guilty pleas for the United Nations International War Crimes Tribunal. This brief was used as a reference for prosecutors trying war crimes cases in Rwanda. Before starting her private law practice, Ms. Fowler worked for the King County Prosecutor's Office prosecuting misdemeanor crimes.
Ms. Fowler has been a practicing attorney for over 25 years handling family law, estate planning, probate, civil matters, and business matters. She has broad experience with negotiation, mediation, discovery, court hearings, and trials in King, Snohomish, San Juan, and Pierce Counties.
Ms. Fowler is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and King County Bar Association. Ms. Fowler presently serves on the Executive Committee of the Solo and Small Practice Section of the Washington State Bar Association, where she also previously served as Chair. Ms. Fowler is past President of the East King County Bar Association, Past Trustee of the King County Bar Association, and Past Trustee of the Young Lawyers Division of the King County Bar Association. Ms Fowler has won awards for her work with domestic violence survivors and for mentoring young lawyers.
